AKANKSHA + ROHIT

Akanksha Dev is an artist/performer who has worked and trained primarily in movement, dance, and theatre. She's spent her life accumulating a vast number of theatrical skills from across the world. From classical Indian dance forms like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and folk dances such as Chhau, Devarrattam, Garba-Dandia, she also trained in martial art forms such as Kalaripayyatu and Tai chi. She has also spent time training in international formats such as ballet, Japanese Noh, Wayang Wong and contemporary forms of theatre and acting.

She is currently exploring performance art as a vocabulary, while expanding further into improvisation in performance.

Rohit is an experimental musician & sound artist who has been exploring improvised forms of music using acoustic wind instruments, synthesis and sampling. They are exploring inter-disciplinary formats and incorporating use of phone apps and coded music in their performances.
